Dr. Luna is the Immediate Past President of the Philippine Glaucoma Society (2023-2024). She is affiliated with the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital as a Clinical Associate Professor of the College of Medicine and as a Medical Specialist of the Philippine General Hospital.

Even as she has spent more time in the hospital administration in recent years, she continues to work with the team that supervises the Ophthalmology residents and Glaucoma fellows of the University Hospital, and performs Ultrasound Biomicroscopy on their patients.

She is interested in Glaucoma Imaging, Corneal Biomechanics, and Genetics in Glaucoma.

After completing her Ophthalmology residency and Glaucoma fellowship training at the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital, she pursued further Glaucoma fellowship trainings under Dr. Robert Ritch at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Associate Professor Paul Chew at the Singapore National Eye Center and National University Hospital.

She has served as the President of the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology (2020-2021).
