Dr Woo is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with special interest in Glaucoma at Regency Medical Care Centre, Malaysia. He is also Chief Executive Officer and a Founding Partner of Eagle Eye Centre Malaysia, part of the Eagle Eye Centre Group.

Dr Woo graduated from University College London (UCL) Medical School where he was awarded a scholarship to study Medicine. He also received a second scholarship to complete an Intercalated BSc during this time. Ophthalmology training was completed in Newcastle and Glaucoma training was undertaken at Sunderland Eye Infirmary before he completed the Glaucoma Fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital under Keith Barton.

Dr Woo returned to Malaysia after 22 years in the UK previously worked as a Consultant at Sunderland Eye Infirmary and York Hospital. Dr Woo is a UK Royal College of Ophthalmologists Examiner and reviewer for several Ophthalmology journals.
