Dr. Duangnate Rojanaporn is a distinguished ophthalmologist specializing in ocular oncology and retina. She earned her MD from Mahidol University, Bangkok, before completing fellowships in medical and surgical retina at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and ocular oncology at Wills Eye Hospital, USA.
Currently, she is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, where she directs the Ocular Oncology Service and teaches in the Retina Service. A pioneer in Southeast Asia, Dr. Rojanaporn introduced plaque brachytherapy and intra-arterial chemotherapy for retinoblastoma, transforming treatment options for intraocular tumors.
She has received prestigious awards, including the ICO Fellowship Grant, Professor Yasuo Tano Travel Grant, APAO Achievement Award, and recognition from AAPPO and APVRS leadership programs. She serves on the ISOO Membership Committee and APVRS YO Standing Committee. Her scholarly contributions include 39 peer-reviewed publications (h-index 18), textbook chapters, and editorial leadership for the Springer Retina Atlas: Oncology Volume.
