Dr Fabrizio D’Esposito is the Western Pacific Head of Region at the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), where he leads regional policy, advocacy, and partnership efforts to advance universal eye health.
With over 15 years of experience in public health, higher education, and international development, Fabrizio has worked across the Western Pacific Region, including roles with WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific and Vision 2020 Australia.
His work focuses on strengthening health systems, integrating eye health into broader health and development agendas, and driving multi-country collaboration towards the 2030 In Sight goals and the Global Summit for Eye Health. Fabrizio holds a Doctorate from the University of Sydney and a Master of Public Health from the University of Melbourne.
