I am the Managing Director of OasisEye Specialists, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I was previously Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and Consultant Ophthalmologist and Vitreoretinal Surgeon at the University of Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I also founded and was Head of the University of Malaya Eye Research Centre (umerc.um.edu.my). I am the Immediate Past President of the Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology which represents all the eye doctors in Malaysia.

I have completed a Fellowship in Vitreoretinal surgery at the Royal Perth Hospital and Lions Eye Insitute in Perth, Western Australia in 2008. As the main teaching hospital in Western Australia, the Royal Perth Hospital manages all patients with advanced vitreoretinal disease for the whole state. The Lions Eye Institute is the largest ophthalmology research unit in the southern hemisphere.

I am an experienced high-volume cataract surgeon with a low rate of complications and have broad clinical and surgical training in all aspects of ophthalmology.

After graduation from Cambridge University in 1998, I have completed all my specialist training in ophthalmology in London and obtained my Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in November 2008.

I am registered as a specialist in Ophthalmology in the UK, Malaysia, and Australia. I am experienced in all aspects of vitreoretinal surgery. I have extensive experience and have published on the use of intravitreal Anti-VEGF agents.
