Dr. Sathiya Prakash Sooryanarayana is a Clinical Optometrist, Educator, and Researcher with a PhD in Optometry from The National University of Malaysia (UKM). He is currently a Postdoctoral Clinical Research Fellow at the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI) and Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC).Previously, he lectured in Optometry at UCSI University and practiced as a Clinical Optometrist and Tutor at leading Malaysian eye institutions. His research has been published in local and international journals. Dr. Prakash also contributes to the profession through leadership roles as Vice President of the Association of Malaysian Optometrists (AMO), Assistant Secretary of the Malaysian College of Optometrists, and Co-opted Member of the Asia Pacific Council of Optometry (APCO).
