Dr. Syntia Nusanti is the Head of the Neuro-ophthalmology division at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia – Dr Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (FMUI–RSCM). She holds the position of Head of Ophthalmology Residency Program at FMUI.
In 2008, she successfully completed her fellowship program in Neuro-ophthalmology at the Ophthalmology Department RSCM. Continuing her academic pursuits, she earned a Master’s degree in Medical Education from FMUI in 2011 and obtained her Doctoral degree in 2023. Dr. Syntia completed clinical electrophysiology training at Lille (France) in 2015, at Moorfields Eye Hospital (England) in 2017, and at Teikyo University (Japan) in 2018.
Dr. Syntia is currently president of the Indonesian Neuro-ophthalmology Society.
Dr. Syntia has published papers in peer-reviewed journals, particularly in the areas of neuro-ophthalmology, electrophysiology, and medical education.
