Dr. Wendy See Yen Nee is a Consultant Ophthalmologist subspecializing in Medical Retinal and Uveitis currently working at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH), Sarawak, Malaysia. She’s the first Medical Retina and Uveitis consultant in Borneo. She has also successfully completed her clinical research fellowship in Retinal Vascular Service at Johns Hopkins University under the mentorship of Dr. Neil Bressler, the first from Malaysia.

She’s also active in extracurricular aspect: She is the past president of Malaysian Young Ophthalmologists (2023-2025), the selected APAO YO Rising Star (2024), and a participant of AAO Leadership Development Program (2024).

She is also a mother of three beautiful children. She’s passionate about research, and serving homecooked meals for her family while chasing academic excellence.
