Widya Anandita, MD lives in Jakarta, Indonesia. She graduated from University of Indonesia in 2010, got her Master in Hospital Administration in 2012, and finished her residency in 2018 from the same University. She attended LASIK Accredited Course in SNEC in 2018, and later underwent glaucoma fellowship in Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital in 2020.

Currently she is practicing in Mayapada Eye Center, Hermina Bekasi Hospital, and Achmad wardi Eye Hospital as glaucoma specialist. In the later, she also served as adjunct lecturer for University of Indonesia, primarily teaching phacoemulsification to residents.

She’s also actively involved in Indonesian Glaucoma Society, Asia Pacific Glaucoma Society and Young Ophthalmologist (YO) Chapter of Indonesian Ophthalmologists Association (IOA) and Asia Pacific Association of Ophthalmologists (APAO). She’s also the top 20 participants and grant recipient in the APAO YO Rising Star Program 2023. For her roles, she was nominated as best young ophthalmologist APAO in 2021.
